Our School

Welcome to O'Connell Drive Elementary School in Porter's Lake, Nova Scotia. Our school serves students and families from the communities of Porter's Lake and Lake Echo. We opened in September of 1997 to 440 students as the first P3 school in our province. We were among the first to experience a technologically rich learning environment. Our classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors, computers and our students have access to the latest software to enhance their learning experiences. Today, we have an enrollment of approximately 360 students. Our staff is dedicated to taking any measures necessary to improve student achievement.
